Less scrolling.
A smarter Eichler shortlist.

Your property organizer is the starting point for a focused search: return to saved homes, revisit search criteria and turn architectural curiosity into useful next questions. Start in Silicon Valley, then compare the places and homes that fit the way you want to live.

01 / Your saved-search workspace

Pick up where you left off.

Use your iHomefinder account to return to saved properties and searches. Already registered? Sign in with the email you used when saving a home or search. If you cannot remember your password, use the recovery control in the sign-in area.

Your organizer account is separate from this page’s planning worksheet. Account controls and available listing information are provided by iHomefinder. If the sign-in area does not load, open the property search and use its account or Save Search controls.

New to saved searches?

  1. Start with a live search. Choose the area and filters available in the listing search. Review the results before saving so you can see what your criteria actually include.
  2. Use Save Search. The search will prompt you to sign in or create an account. Follow the account prompts and review the communication preferences offered.
  3. Return with a purpose. Review new matches, refine your criteria and use the account’s available saved-property and email controls. A saved search is useful only if it reflects your current priorities.

03 / Interactive buying brief

Turn “we’ll know it when we see it” into a plan.

Write a brief you can discuss with Eric and Janelle. Be specific about activities and constraints: two simultaneous work calls, a dining table that seats six, or a garden route without steps tells us more than “great flow.”

These fields stay on this page only. They do not save to your account or send to the team. Copy your brief before leaving or refreshing. Avoid entering financial account details or other sensitive information.

Email the Boyenga Team

Copy first, then paste into your email. Opening email does not send your notes automatically.

04 / The Property Nerds decision check

Save the home. Document the reason.

A favorite is a reminder to investigate, not a commitment to buy. For each serious contender, write one reason to revisit, one unresolved question and the next piece of evidence needed. Keep lifestyle fit, property condition and pricing as separate discussions.

Before it earns a showing

0 of 6 review steps checked

Four labels beat a mystery score.

Fits now: supported by what you know today.

Might fit with a change: depends on a practical solution that needs evaluation.

Does not fit: conflicts with a requirement you are not willing to change.

Not yet known: requires a document, measurement, second visit or professional answer.

Keep unknowns visible. A beautiful photograph cannot settle roof history, radiant-heat condition, glazing safety or permitted alterations.

Make the follow-up actionable.

Instead of “check the roof,” write “request the installation and repair records, identify the author and date, then discuss the remaining questions with the appropriate inspector.” Give each open item an owner and a review date. The Eichler Buying Process explains how showing observations connect with the broader investigation.

05 / Tune the signal

Keep alerts useful as your search evolves.

Too many matches?

Revisit geography and essential requirements before adding more filters. Check whether duplicate searches are covering the same ground. Use the email preferences available in your account or the unsubscribe link in the relevant email.

Too few matches?

Review one flexible criterion at a time. Talk through nearby areas or different layouts without treating a larger search as a promise of inventory. Market availability and listing coverage change.

Nothing arriving?

Confirm the email used for the account, check your spam folder and review saved criteria and preferences. Contact the team if you need help. Do not assume a quiet inbox means no suitable home exists.

Listing information may change between an alert and your next visit. Confirm current availability, price and showing arrangements. Saved searches do not guarantee every listing, instant notifications or advance access to private inventory.

The useful questions

Know what the organizer does.

Does saving a home request a showing?

No. Treat saving as a way to keep track of interest. Request a showing through the listing’s available contact controls or contact the Boyenga Team with the property address and your preferred times. Arrangements require confirmation.

Does a listing result prove the home is an Eichler?

No. Search results and marketing descriptions are starting points. Builder attribution, original plans, architect, tract and later alterations may require historical records, permits and property-specific review. Ask which evidence supports the description.

Will this worksheet sync with my saved homes?

No. The buying brief and checklist are local planning tools on this page. They do not connect to your organizer account. Copy the brief before leaving, and keep a separate notebook for each property.

Can you help build or refine my search?

Yes. Send your preferred areas, important routines, general search parameters and timing to Eichlers@Boyenga.com. Eric and Janelle can help you frame the search and identify questions to investigate. Do not send passwords or sensitive financial documents through the brief.

What comes after finding a promising home?

Review current information, arrange an appropriate visit and discuss next steps with your agent. Condition, pricing, financing and contract decisions require property-specific work. Use the buying guide, floor-plan library and post-purchase concierge guide to plan beyond the initial search.
